When to give child a vitamins?

When the child needed. If his daily menu was complete, giving of the supplement or vitamins not needed. Child was said needed the supplement or vitamins when child did not receive enough vitamin. 

Child was sick. When child was sick, his body need more nutrients. In fact the child who was sick not like to eat, as a result child will decrease nutrient (including vitamins). In this condition, child's need ’help’ by giving the supplement or vitamins. 

Child who just recovered from being sick, could be given supplement. However when the condition for the health of the child increasingly improved, giving of the supplement better be reduced and stopped when the child has been really healthy and him ate normal again. 

Child picky eater, was difficult/did not want to eat, thin or the weight was difficult to rise, but also could not to give the supplement or vitamins routinely. The supplement or vitamins not to increase the child's ate, because not any vitamins that made child increase their ate. So the supplement not the real solution for these problems. The main step must do as parents was make an effort child eats, looking for the cause why child was difficult/did not want to eat, or find out why the child's weight was difficult to rise. For the being time, give vitamins will help child's body to fill through the supplement, while parents made an effort to resolve the problem in fact.

The growth of the child, generally is seen from weigh and high increase the child's body. But, the slim child not always means malnutrition, right. Apart from seeing his growth graph, parents must also see the development of the child. Although the rise in the child's weight was not significant (or even continue to), but high his body rose significantly, the capacity motorik was good, also the development of his brain increased fast, actually parents no need to worry.
